About

Every minute, two children are sold into human trafficking. These children are raped, abused, tortured, and mutilated for a profit. We cannot sit silent and allow this evil to prevail, it is time to fight back against modern day slavery!

Founded in 2010 after being inspired by abolitionists on tour with his band Noel Thomas sought to create an organization that would fight the atrocities of modern day slavery, he went to India to make a film and document the most horrendous acts of human slavery. As they returned home they set out on a mission to end slavery and after getting more involved it became evident that they would not need to go across seas to make a difference that there was in fact a real devastating problem of human trafficking and slavery in the United States.

Since it’s inception Redeem The Shadows has gone on several road tours going to college campuses, universities, festivals, churches and where ever else the spirit led. Using any means necessary to draw attention to the issue, and need for prevention and rehabilitation. They have travelled up both the east, west coasts of the United States, travelled to Europe, making connections and contacts establishing a network of abolitionists that are now actively seeking to end human trafficking in their back yard by implementing strategies that address awareness, prevention, rescue and rehabilitation.

Redeem the Shadows currently is seeking to launch it’s restoration program in 2012.
